PUBG Mobile Drop Zone Guide for Erangel and Miramar – Best Drop and Loot Points For Beginners
The main objective in PUBG Mobile is simple, fight, survive and get to the end. But in order to make it to the end, you need to make sure you pick a good drop off point in the beginning, where you have higher chances of surviving the early game and get your hands on some decent loot too.
In this guide, we’re going to tell you about some of the best drop zones in Erangel and Miramar, along with a few pointers on places to avoid for beginners. But before that, a few general tips applicable for every game:
- The first thing you need to do is check your flight path in the map so you can choose a drop zone accordingly, and time when you need to jump off of the plane.
- When you’re in the plane, keep in mind the points where players are jumping out. You can use that to your advantage as you’ll be able to judge where you’ll find more people on the map.
- On your way down, as you approach the landing, be mindful of your surroundings and keep an eye on how many players are around you. Then you can decide whether it’s beneficial to take an early fight or hide and pick up some loot first.
Now let’s take a look at some of the drop zones for Erangel and Miramar
The first major drop spot in Erangel is Novorepnoye, or Novo as it’s known amongst players. This is a pretty big zone and you’ll find a lot of decent loot here. But, there are also chances of running into other players, so you need to weigh the pros and cons.
But even if you do run into enemies, Novo has plenty of places where you can take cover in case someone starts firing at you. This place has a higher chance of finding military grade equipment, so be on the lookout for that.
One thing that you do need to remember is that Novo is a bit isolated as a region, so you’ll have to keep an eye on the timer and the circle to make sure you don’t get stuck outside. On the plus side, you can easily find vehicles here, so getting from one place to another shouldn’t be a huge problem.
The next location on our list is the Mylta Powerplant. This is a good place for people who are starting out as this also has military grade equipment and isn’t known for being a crowded place, so you can take a breath and look for loot in peace.
If you pick Mylta as a drop point, try landing at the green control room as that place has the best loot in the region. But if you’re unable to do so, or your teammates are separated, you can make your way to the factory as that has some good loot as well. Just like Novo, you can easily find vehicles here, which means escaping this place in case a fight breaks out or making your way to the circle is a lot easier.
The Mansion is another good location that has a couple of spots to find great loot. One is the mansion itself, and the other is the garage close to it. Both these spots are known for pretty good items, and you can vehicles close by too. And the biggest advantage of this location is that it’s very close to the shelter and the prison, so you can easily make your way there for more loot.
Two of the most common and popular spots in Erangel are Pochinki and Georgopol, but we suggest you to avoid those if you’re a beginner, as they’re known for being packed with players. You can always head there for early fights if you like, but only do that if you’re sure you’ll be able to survive.
Our first pick in Miramar is El Pozo, it has a lot of buildings which have nice loot. But there’s one building in particular that you should keep in mind, the refrigeration arena which is located right opposite to the area and bowl.
Inside this building you can easily find some powerful military-grade equipment. Plus, this area is usually pretty empty so you don’t even need to worry about getting into a fight and you can loot the place in peace. It’s pretty conveniently located too, so getting inside the circle shouldn’t be a problem either.
Campo Militar is another great location where you can find a lot of loot. And, not a lot of people land here, so you have a higher chance of survival during the early parts as you look for weapons and equipment.
The only major problem with this location is that you always need to be on the lookout for the circle as it’s a bit out of the way and you can easily fall victim to the blue zone if you’re not careful. And vehicles aren’t very common either, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled if you want to make it out in time.
The final location on Miramar is Minas Generales. You won’t always find military-grade loot here, but it’s a great location for squads because it still has some really high-quality loot.
The great thing about Minas Generales is that it’s close to Hacienda and Pecado, so you can easily pick off people coming from there and grab some military-grade equipment off of them.
So, these were our picks for the best drop locations for beginners on Erangel and Miramar. Stay tuned for more, as we’ll be putting out another drop zone guide, for Vikendi and Sanhok.
